We are part of a group of ten nurseries scattered throughout Wiltshire. Our nursery is conveniently situated within the grounds of a local primary school and boasts extensive outdoor facilities. Job Purpose:
In the role of an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
Providing an exceptional, inclusive, and stimulating curriculum to the children, supported by our dedicated team.
Supporting a group of key children in their learning and development.
Collaborating with the team to ensure the seamless operation of the setting.
Engaging with parents and other professionals to discuss the children's development.
Implementing a comprehensive communication approach.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Being attentive to any safeguarding concerns that may arise.
Serving as a positive role model for the children.
Assisting the Senior team in upholding the high aspirations for the setting and children, in compliance with all policies, procedures, and action plans.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Level 2 or Level 3 UK-recognised early years qualification.
The position entails contracted working hours of 26 hours per week, spanning four days from 8.50 am to 3.30 pm.
This is a term-time-only role, with salary paid on a pro-rata basis.
The candidate must have a solid understanding of children's development and safeguarding practices.
The ability to plan engaging activities that are inclusive and enable children to progress in their learning.
A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the SEND Code of Practice is essential.
