What difference will you make?
The Marketing strategy and Communications Plan is essential in helping the Friendly Food Club to deliver its strategic objectives of growth and sustainability. We are looking for someone that can help ignite a plan to increase the public awareness of The Friendly Food Club to positively impact on 1) fundraising 2) event attendance 3) public awareness. We currently reach about 10,000 people per year, we need to continue to grow and reach further whilst making a greater impact on those that we work with.
What are we looking for?
Experience in working in marketing, communications or PR, including top-level communications planning and communicating with different audiences. Ideally, some understanding of the charitable sector, particularly fundraising. Experience of working with small budgets and making them work hard. Enjoy collaborating with motivated team members.
What will you be doing?
The Friendly Food Club is looking for a Dorset-based professional to work with on a short-term basis to help identify and develop a 3-year marketing and communications plan and distilling our work into key, impactful messages. We are looking to work with an experienced professional who enjoys working with a small team of people passionate about changing people's lives through cooking. The project is to take place over the next 3-6 months. Some of the work could be done independently but would need collaboration with a small working party.
