Job Purpose The role of Purchasing Co-Ordinator is a vital to the success of our worldwide development activities. The Purchasing Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the purchasing, stock control and shipping are effectively executed and financially controlled according to project budgets and timescales. ensure. Main Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships. Raising Purchased orders in sufficient detail to ensure that costs are code to the correct project/accounts. Monitoring and forecasting inventory levels, raising supplier orders for stock replenishment and complete projects. Monitoring pricing to maintain revenue and profit margins. Ensuring all import/export requirements are meet and documentation is accurate. Responsible for maintaining suppler records, reviews, and CRM data. Prioritise workload across long-lead and real time demands. Assist in the implementation of stocktakes and other business processes to optimise stock control. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement requirements are met. Attend project handover and kick off meeting to provide detailed information on costs, delivery schedules and shipping options. Goods receiving ensure that all deliveries as checked off and claims submitted for short delivery/damaged stock. Person Specification Experience and Skills Required for Post: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Good understanding of pricing and margins. Must have a positive, encouraging personality with the ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to prioritise workload across long-lead and real time demands. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Keen attention to detail and aptitude for problem solving. Highly motivated, reliable, trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic.
