Henry Martin is assisting a leading main contractor in their search for an experienced Document Controller. Our client is a dynamic construction company specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable projects that leave a lasting impact on the communities they serve. As a Document Controller, you will manage project processes and procedures within the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS). The role ensures that all activities align with the company’s policies and standards. You will also support project teams—both internal and external—by providing guidance on EDMS use, addressing queries, and generating reports. Key Responsibilities: Quality-check and process documentation in line with company standards. Oversee review periods, workflows, and the distribution of documents. Track and follow up on overdue submissions or correspondence. Alert Package Managers regarding outstanding items within their area of responsibility on the EDMS. Our client seeks an individual with proven experience in document control within the construction or building sector. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of EDMS, particularly Aconex, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and BS1192 compliance standards. They should be detail-oriented, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
