Then Rocco Forte Hotels would love to invite you to join us as a Wedding & Social Event Planner in our Meeting and Events sales team. As an energetic Wedding & Social Event Planner you will help our clients to achieve their ultimate luxury experience. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing successful weddings & social events. From deciding on a theme to managing all the detailed preparations, you will be responsible for handling all the activities with ease. You will be coordinating with the guests to identify their requirements and suggest creative ideas and inspirations accordingly. You will also be liaising with our culinary team and vendors to source the required materials. You will also be able to create a time-line of all wedding-day/social event activities for each client to ensure that everything remains on schedule. In addition you will support the Meeting and Events department on other hotel events by collating, co-ordinating and distributing information between clients and hotel departments, whilst ensuring the highest standards of service are achieved. Your duties will entail maintaining a good working relationship with our clients and ensuring that final details are confirmed and that contracts are sent in an orderly fashion. You are also responsible for ensuring all enquiries are followed up and converting tentative reservations into confirmed bookings. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of the requirements within Meeting and Events including facilities, set-ups and services available. You must be able to meet deadlines, have good computer skills and an excellent telephone manner including the ability to provide seamless service delivery with a nothing is too much trouble, attitude. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. To be succeed as a Wedding & Social Event Planner, you should be methodical and adept at handling difficult or stressful situations. Suitable Wedding & Social Event Planners should keep abreast of the latest industry trends as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, organisation, and customer service skills. Ultimately, your insight, commitment and pride in your work will make you an integral part of the Rocco Forte family. The hours of work will include weekend working due to being on site for weddings and Hotel visits for our potential clients.
