ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
The Assurance Team are looking for an IE Engineer to specify, plan and develop the more complex Asset based IE engineering activities within the O&P UK Assets.
Key accountabilities
1. Develop and sustain knowledge of relevant IE legislation and standards impacting the Asset equipment on site.
2. Assist and guide the O&P Assets IE Duty Holders to develop, deliver and sustain an Asset IE equipment maintenance & inspection strategy
3. In support of the Asset IE Duty Holders, develop an asset equipment Asset Life Plan.
4. Maintain in depth knowledge of IE equipment design, specification, operation and maintenance.
5. Act as the Electrical Duty Holder in support of the site Facilities Management team.
ABOUT YOU
You should:
6. Have Chartered status (or equivalent) with significant experience in a manufacturing industry OR have extensive experience with other vocational qualifications.
7. Have good working knowledge of the law as it applies to the design, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of electrical equipment.
8. Demonstrate an understanding of discipline legislative and regulatory requirements and demonstrated ability to appropriately translate these requirements into equipment inspection/maintenance regimes.
9. Have a good understanding of IEC 60079 ATEX.
10. Have experience of following a Management of Change process and associated documentation management systems.
