SEN Teacher – Primary – Additional Resource Provision – Enfield

A thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their Additional Resource Provision (ARP) team, supporting children with complex learning needs. About the School: This friendly and welcoming primary school in Enfield is committed to ensuring that every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential. The school has a strong focus on inclusion and provides a highly supportive environment for both staff and pupils. The ARP caters for up to ten children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication difficulties, ensuring a structured and engaging learning environment. The provision is well-equipped and benefits from a dedicated team, including two experienced Teaching Assistants who will work closely with the SEN Teacher to provide tailored support for each child.
Role Overview:
1. Location: Enfield
2. Start Date: Immediate
3. Contract: Permanent
4. Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (Dependent on experience)
About You:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Has a proven track record of supporting children with complex learning needs, including ASD, communication difficulties, and other developmental challenges.
3. Demonstrates expertise in adapting the curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
4. Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
5. Is passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons for children within the ARP.
2. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support students’ progress and personal development.
3. Use a range of strategies to support children with complex learning needs, including differentiated teaching and sensory approaches.
4. Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
5. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
