Position Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions, managing team dynamics, and implementing effective processes to ensure the smooth running of operations. You will plan and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve and complete daily workload and achieve agreed handling rates. You will also be the main point of contact on the shift for all customer, staff, and stock activities.
Responsibilities:
1. To maintain and promote high levels of Health and Safety standards.
2. Be the point of contact for all work-related queries.
3. Maintain strong communication skills using the latest technology with all internal and external contacts. Escalate any operational issues affecting assured supply to PCC or VMI customers on your daily handovers to the appropriate stakeholders within the organisation.
4. Assign tasks to the team and offer appropriate support and guidance to ensure work is completed to the required standards in accordance with health and safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity requirements.
5. Employee performance and development management.
6. All aspects of goods in and despatch including seal compliance, order processing, and invoicing.
7. All aspects of administration including data entry, archiving, system maintenance, producing reports, and ordering of office supplies.
8. Admin Maintenance & Housekeeping including Product and System integrity, Short/Long Shelf Life, Dock, 'On hold', BBD Reports, verified inbound/outbound shipment checks, Outstanding orders, to name a few.
9. Conduct stock and POD discrepancy investigations.
