AM2PM is looking for a full-time Health and Safety Support Officer to join our Clients H&S Operation Team.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with H&S practice in a busy manufacturing site and possess strong organisational skills. However, we are prepared to consider candidates without H&S experience as training will be provided. The essential requirements to be successful in this role include a desire to learn and apply key H&S practices relevant to our workplace, adopt best practice as an example, and safeguard our workforce. Attention to detail is important alongside well-developed interpersonal skills.
Reporting to the H&S Officer Manager, this is a site-based role.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday
In the first 3 months (training period): 8.00am – 17.00pm
After 3 months: 13.30pm – 21.00pm

Key Responsibilities:
* Working with the HSO to contribute to the management, monitoring, and improvement of our H&S standards and practices.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with key personnel in Operations to ensure compliance with our H&S commitments.
* Participate in inspection and auditing procedures to support our high standard of H&S practices.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of H&S-related documentation and records as necessary.
* Support the ongoing training of staff concerning H&S-related matters by creating and delivering training content.
* Perform and report regular in-house audits, such as first aid stock inspection, fire-fighting equipment inspections, and pest control programs.
* Support the HSM to conduct relevant risk assessment exercises with associated management and distribution of outcome information.
* Promote best practice health and safety in our workplace.
