Pay - GBP GBP83.33 - GBP110 per day / GBP416.65 - GBP550 per week
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in various special needs school SEN school in Cannock.
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within class. Personal care will be involved.
This position would be working as TA with children with special needs (SEN/ SEND) such as autism (ASD/ ASC) and learning difficulties (MLD and SLD). This role would be also managing behaviours of students. Training is provided but experience with SEN children or adults would be preferred. This may lead to long term or permanent roles.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities and role
· Being aware of children's progress and achievements, and to report and record these achievements in developmental records through written observations
· Supporting children with learning, communication, behavioural or developmental difficulties
· Assisting pupils with personal hygiene routines
· Supporting teaching in delivering lesson effectively to the students
· Using sound knowledge and understanding of pedagogy in helping children in their learning and development
· Designing and producing displays that support children's learning and development
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
references that cover at least the last two years
Experience working with children or adults in care work, mainstream schools, SEND schools, nurseries, support work
Able and willing to travel to schools in Coventry
Looking for full time 5 days a week
Hardworking
Preferred but not a must:
· Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
· Experience working in sen schools
· Team teach or mapa
