We have an exciting opportunity available for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Forest of Dean team working full time, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. In return we will offer you an hourly pay rate of £11.74 per hour (increasing to £12.32 per hour if the location meets the monthly targets), a place to develop your skills and the chance to work in some of the UK’s most stunning forest environments.
Open all year round, as our Food and Beverage Supervisor you play a pivotal role working closely with the Forest Retreat Manager to run our Forest Retreat building, the hub of the location. This is our reception, the first port of call for guests checking in on their holiday. It houses a shop, bar, and restaurant. Opening hours are location and season dependent but there are no late openings which allows a better work/life balance.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor Role:
Experience of working in a fast-paced food and beverage or retail environment is essential. You must be able to work individually and as one team, with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and a professional rapport with guests.
The Forest Retreat also has a shop which involves retail duties, and a small bar and café/restaurant where you will be required to do some catering and table waiting. Your customer service skills will be vital in providing exemplary service to our guests throughout their stay, making sure each guest experiences that Forest Feeling from the moment they check-in.
Our ideal Food and Beverage Supervisor is articulate and approachable. You put our guests at the heart of everything you do and have a helpful, positive personality. Passionate about all the little details that make a holiday great is what makes our guests return time and time again.
Minimum Age and Pay:
* 16 – 17 year olds paid at £6.40 p/hr (increasing to £6.72 p/hr if targets met)
* 17 – 18 year olds paid at £8.60 p/hr (increasing to £9.03 p/hr if targets met)
