As a Graduate SEMH Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and group support, helping students develop coping strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment. Collaborating closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents, you will contribute to creating and implementing individualized support plans tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Offer personalized support to students with SEMH needs, aiding in their emotional resilience and well-being.
2. Assist students in developing effective coping mechanisms for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
3. Promote the development of social and emotional skills essential for success in the school environment.
4. Collaborate with educational staff and families to design and implement individualized support plans.
