The Role
Our team of skilled engineers and developers are key to OQC’s ongoing provision of seamless access to Quantum computing technology for our end users. Our agile teams require support to manage various impediments within the overall function, and you will take a key role in creating a smooth operation. The Personal Assistant role will provide administrative support, enabling the wider team to focus their efforts on understanding problems and delivering technical solutions; ensuring that the next project iterations are ever better.
This support will predominantly be in the form of administrative activities, planning and diary management, as well as providing a central point of contact for other teams, capturing & distributing information, such as lessons learned, and supporting the onboarding of new team members.
Responsibilities include:
* Take on a variety of organisational and administrative tasks within the technical teams
* Provide a liaison point for cross-team organisation
* Drive good practice to ensure that agreed items are actioned and executed
* Schedule workshops and other events across the team
* Consolidate and maintain documents and artefacts relating to our software design and delivery process
* Support efficiencies in project management
* Track key metrics and KPIs across the team
Skills + experience
* Background is a similar role such as an Administrator, PA or EA
* Experience with maintaining and managing accurate documentation, ideally in a technical environment
* Experience of managing and coordinating diaries
* Solid communication skills
* Track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships across teams
* Ability to work independently with good problem solving skills
* Strong prioritisation skills
A keen interest in working in and enabling cutting edge tech is desirable and some knowledge of software development may be useful.
