Job Overview
An exciting opportunity to support and quality assure nursing and midwifery pre and post-registration workplace learning within Lothian Health Board area.
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate the development of the workplace as a sustainable quality learning environment for all nursing and midwifery professional staff.
2. Support staff in implementing the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment.
3. Assist in the development and consolidation of Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors.
4. Support pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, and Newly Qualified NMC Registered Practitioners.
5. Contribute to collaborative working between NHS Lothian, NHS Education for Scotland, and Higher Education and Further Education partners.
6. Maximize practice learning capacity while maintaining a quality learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have approved Practice Assessor experience.
