Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Support in the growth of the business in the assigned territories and strive to achieve the sales budget within the defined area and/or specifically defined sales accounts (Includes revenue, volume, and margin).
2. Travel within the designated area attending customer sites as needed and driving business opportunities.
3. Support in market research and sales initiatives.
4. Manage key accounts with varying values from 100K to multi-million projects.
5. Provide proposals and communicate price changes to customers.
6. Recommend pricing tactics and how to successfully implement the decision to the European Sales Manager.
7. Recommend the appropriate service levels for individual customers and ensure that these levels are maintained – visit frequency, etc.
8. Work is planned and prioritized in line with the budget and customer requirements.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
1. Technical sales experience with polymers, compounding, and other associated technical materials.
2. Degree educated in a relevant materials principle, chemistry, materials science, or polymer science.
3. The ability to work either independently and/or as a member of a team.
4. Willingness and ability to travel within a designated geographical area including Europe.
5. Competently work with a computer and with Microsoft Office Applications.
