If so, we would love to hear from you About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing Key Stage 4 class. In this rewarding role, you will provide invaluable support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to thrive in a safe and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teachers to deliver tailored lessons that promote both academic and emotional development. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 4 students. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, fostering their academic and emotional growth. Help manage classroom behavior in a calm and structured manner, supporting students in overcoming challenges. Build positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and motivated to succeed. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH, SEN, or in a school setting is desirable. A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and helping them succeed. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations. Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and support staff. A positive and flexible approach to working with young people. Why Join Us?
