We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth within the industrial manufacturing sector. This role focuses on selling innovative abrasive solutions, optimizing customer production processes, and expanding market share across a designated territory. Responsibilities: Identify and convert new business opportunities, meeting and exceeding sales targets. Support our end user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market leading productivity savings and safety improvements. Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users in the metal fabrication industry. Provide technical product demonstrations and application support. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. Utilize CRM tools for territory management and customer engagement tracking. Stay informed on competitor activities and industry trends. Develop close working relationships with the territory channel partner Sales Reps built on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support About You: Degree, equivalent qualification, or completed apprenticeship in a relevant field. Proven experience in field sales within an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems. Technical aptitude to understand and demonstrate abrasive solutions.
