If you’re an experienced customer service professional with excellent administrative skills and experience working within the automotive industry, then carry on reading! My client, a successful established automotive business, is looking for a Service Advisor to join their team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the automotive industry (ideally commercial vehicles) as well as strong customer service and administrative skills.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, with occasional Saturdays 7am – 12pm which will be paid extra.
Duties include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries.
* Speaking to customers over the phone, providing them with a high level of service and sound advice.
* Arranging service and maintenance bookings for c.500 vehicles.
* Booking MOTs for vehicles.
* Assisting with buying parts.
* Ensuring the database is updated and maintained.
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
* Previous experience within the commercial vehicle sector is essential.
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle parts.
* An aptitude to learn.
* A strong attention to detail.
* Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
* Competent using IT including Microsoft Excel and Office.
* Experience using SAGE would be an advantage, however not essential.
