CFO Evolution - Community Support Worker - (Exeter)
Job Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a CFO Evolution - Community Support Worker to join our team.
As a support worker, you will be expected to manage a caseload of participants in a community environment. Starting with the initial assessment with the participant, you will provide guidance and support throughout their journey, offering one-on-one interventions and group work to assist participants in overcoming challenges, reintegrating back into their communities, and completing the course.
This initiative aims to establish safe spaces where individuals who have undergone rehabilitation can engage in positive activities that enhance social acceptance, improve their overall health, and equip them with the skills to face daily challenges.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in probation/social care or within the criminal justice sector. However, we understand that not everyone may meet all criteria, so we are looking for someone confident, comfortable working with diverse individuals from various backgrounds, and capable of coaching or mentoring them.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) along with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
1. Meet individual performance targets and contribute to team performance targets in line with contractual requirements.
2. Collaborate closely with volunteer peer mentors and/or mentors to manage your caseload effectively and connect participants with resources for housing, substance use, physical and mental health, etc.
3. Contribute to a learning environment where all colleagues can develop their skills and experience, and engage in activities to share best practices.
4. Ensure effective case management and coordination of risk, focusing on safeguarding adults and children. This includes timely notification of concerns regarding changes in individual risk to the Probation Service and adherence to systems, policies, and procedures for risk management.
5. Ensure all contractual targets are met.
Skills and Experience
1. IAG Level 3 - desirable
2. Experience managing a caseload of participants - desirable
3. Knowledge of inputting and retrieving electronic data and maintaining computer-based information systems accurately and timely. Experience in a target-driven environment.
4. Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to relate to people at all levels and in various settings.
5. Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals.
