Following the exciting recent announcement that Manheim Gloucester will be re-opening as a Commercial Vehicle centre of excellence, we have the following vacancy for various Operations Assistants. Responsibilities Various roles will be encompassed under this job title. Imagery - utilising our 360 degree image booth with turntable to image vehicles prior to auction Pre-Inspect - to onsite vehicles upon arrival, complete a GDPR data cleanse where required, and to accurately record number of keys, sundry items along with any service history booklets. Gate Security - to receive vehicles onto site, barcoding onto our system using a handheld tablet accurately recording the registration number and speedometer reading along with customer details. To accurately check sold vehicles exiting the site ensuring they are authorised to leave. Movement Team - to assist with the movements of HGV's & LCV's on site between various processes and ultimately the lining up of vehicles ready for auction. Sale day driving through of the HGV units once the relevant training has been given. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: Observe health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times. Ensure that vehicles are moved in a timely manner. To have a basic knowledge of HSE legislation To be able to operate the required technology hardware for the specific operational functions The ability to drive a variety of vehicles (LCV & HGV) with all types of ignition procedures and transmissions First Aid at Work qualification would be a benefit
