We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Relief Team Leader at our Wolverhampton site. In a nutshell you will: Lead Operational Excellence: Champion and drive the Operational Excellence programme at P&R. Train and Coach: Develop and implement Visual Standards, Lean Methods, and Rituals across all business areas. Monitor and Assess: Maintain Layer Confirmation Assessments, regularly evaluate Lean Maturity, and create actionable plans to address gaps. Strategy Deployment: Facilitate and evolve a strategy deployment plan aligned with our 3-year strategic goals. Develop Leadership: Build a community of EDPS and DMAIC sponsors and leaders to foster Lean behaviours and ensure successful delivery of improvements. Collaborate and Share Best Practices: Work with supplier partners and HD Group to maximise benefits through shared best practices. Data-Driven Improvements: Lead the development of effective data capture methods, analyse data sets, and align improvement projects with strategic priorities, such as reducing accidents, waste, and improving quality and productivity. Support and Enable Success: Coach, support, and assess EDPS, yellow, and green belt DMAIC leaders to achieve high-quality, timely outcomes. Ensure Resources: Identify financial and physical enablers for project success, remove blockers, and propose solutions to challenges. Financial Accuracy: Work closely with the Financial Manager to ensure accurate reporting of CI project statuses and benefits. Leadership Collaboration: Ensure the effectiveness of the monthly strategy deployment review and escalate unresolved issues with proposed solutions. Challenge Standards: Leverage internal and external expertise to ensure plans meet or exceed industry best practices. Deliver Results: Execute Belted level projects and support line managers in delivering Lean/CI activities. What you are already great at: Motivating and inspiring teams to achieve high performance. For this role we would need you to demonstrate: A strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and methods. Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing others. A proactive approach to problem-solving and removing blockers. Experience in facilitating and delivering operational improvement projects.
