Staff for Education are urgently seeking an Office Administrator for a busy Primary School Office in the Worksop area. We aim to provide a comprehensive administrative service to our partner school by sourcing a member of staff who has the following qualities and understanding.
As a School Office Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
•Photocopying, filing and archiving
•Providing support to pupil admissions and register, including for maintaining contact details for pupils (manually and on SIMS).
•Event administration and correspondence
•Provide cover for reception
•Responding to and taking appropriate action in respect of all School Office emails
•Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries, taking messages and passing calls to the appropriate person
•Supporting staff, parents and pupil queries
•Interacting with visitors to the School
•Dealing with sick children
•Be able to support the management of a busy and thriving school office
To be successful for the role, you must:
•Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Online Update Service
•Have good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English
•Have knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially Word and Excel
•Be able to use the School’s MIS systems (SIMS)
•Have high attention to detail
•Have good communication skills
•Have good organisational skills
•Be flexible and committed approach to the role
•Have an understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements
