Job summary Due to the exciting expansion of the team we have a unique opportunity to offer a second Band 7 Clinical Team Leader position as a key person in our collaborative management structure, working alongside the current Band 7 in post. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team; is forward thinking; innovative and highly motivated; and who aspires to bring out professional excellence in others. You will be helping run an established and growing multidisciplinary team, working a ratio 60% managerial and 40% clinical and leading with our more complex referrals. The role will require you to interface with the NNUH, the wider NSFT, and supporting agencies working to develop relationships and effective service user pathways. We offer flexible working within the limits of our service needs which cover 24/7 hour. Main duties of the job The Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS) is a Core 24 liaison team that aspires to clinical, teaching and research excellence and has applied for PLAN accreditation. We are a dynamic, rapidly developing and evolving service covering all ages over 16 years in a 1254-bed busy general hospital dealing with over 500 referrals per month. The MHLS is the interface between physical and mental health working within the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) and the wider NSFT. Our multidisciplinary team is made up of a wide range of professional expertise and skills with a vigorous culture of collaborative working. This provides robust support in decision making; internal education and training; and assistance in your professional development.
