We are excited to be able to offer a Cluster IT Services Manager to join our busy team within our Cluster Swindon Academy/Nova Hreod Academy.

The Swindon cluster are looking for an effective, hardworking & diligent IT Services Manager to lead & manage a small team while working closely with the schools’ Principals and Senior Leadership Teams to raise standards for every child.
This is an interesting and wide-ranging role, which will be suited to a focused & detail-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable to change & positively responds to manage a diverse & changeable workload. The successful candidate must be people-orientated, with a positive outlook & easily capable of building and maintaining positive working relationships.
Main Duties:
* Reporting to the Executive Business Director and managing the ICT Services Team.
* Accountable for the day to day management of ICT Services that support teaching, learning, business & admin functions across the cluster.
* To effectively line manage the ICT Services staff within the cluster, overseeing their duties. To include; training, mentoring, coaching and apprenticeship support.
* Project manage all IT related projects and feed into wider Cluster projects which require IT input.
* Ensure effective Supplier Management policies are in place, managed and measured.
* Oversee the support of MIS and other admin systems used within the cluster from a technical support perspective.
* Accountable for documentation and enforcement of all ICT related policies, CCTV access and acceptable use policies.
* Continuous review of processes to ensure Lean Methodology is applied to everything IT & that processes are fully documented to reduce key person dependency.
* Support the ‘cloud’ approach of the trust by managing & maintaining the servers for Azure Cloud.

* Experience of website/virtual learning environments
* Evidence of successfully configuring and managing ICT networks, including hardware & software functions to support the day to day functions of all users.
* Experience of leading & successfully managing a team.
* Ability to build & maintain appropriate relationships with colleagues and students.
* Able to lead, develop & motivate a team.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritise workload tasks, in particular when under pressure.
* Able to work flexibly, meet deadlines & appropriately respond to unplanned situations.
* Effective & efficient approach to organisation.
* Commitment to the highest standards of safeguarding & child protection.
