A temporary position for a Recruitment Administration Assistant has arisen which will begin from the New Year on a temporary ongoing basis until around Easter time. Due to the nature of the work environment, the Recruitment Administration Assistant will be required to have an Enhanced DBS certificate already in place. This role will be providing administrative support to the HR department, supporting various recruitment and administration duties.
Job Description for the Recruitment Administration Assistant:
The role of the Recruitment Administration Assistant will report to the Recruitment / Administration Manager and the duties will include:
Prepare job vacancies
Support with recruitment processes including DBS/right-to-work checks and obtaining references
Monitor the induction of all new staff into the business
Organising absence hearings
Collate performance management documents
Support with the coordination of staff timesheets
Minute-taking during meetings
Prepare agendas, reports, and various resource material
Answer the phone and take any messages It would be good to see candidates for the Recruitment Administration Assistant role with the following experience:
Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS which is on the Update Service
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths at Grade ‘C’ or above
Must have a strong administration/recruitment background
Must be computer literate and have good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook
Good communication and customer service skills – both oral and written
Minute taking skills
Ability to proofread documents
Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Salary: £12.65 per hour
