Reporting into the Programme Director the Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.

Electronics hardware design and development support
Electronics software design and development support
Electrical harness design and development support
Integration and validation of Electro/mechanical vehicle systems
To oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
Assessing production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
Compiling data derived from reports, revising time schedules according to necessity overseeing the quality of work at project site
Support project review meetings
Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions
Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects

Ensuring all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions.
Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within Electrical/Electronic Engineering or within a Project Management role, in a fast paced, forward-thinking business
Good understanding of automotive legislative EESE requirements
Ability to use Microsoft Office and Project to an advanced level
Proven record of people & project management
Integrates departmental planning with other business units
Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload
Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity
Experience and knowledge of designing project guideline and procedures
Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
