An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist based at Victoria House, Morecambe, but work agile covering our Outpatient and Inpatient settings across Lancaster and Morecambe.
We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills, the ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, service users, visitors, and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office packages, and have a good telephone manner.
This position will cover 3 working days to be confirmed with either of the following start and finish times:
1. 08:30 till 17:00 (with a 1-hour lunch break)
2. 09:00 till 17:00 (with a 30-minute lunch break)
Please note: Flexibility on days/times and site location is required to support service needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be organised, professional, committed, and will assist in providing a high standard, quality reception service with The Bay Network.
The post holder will work flexibly in response to the needs of the service, providing cover to various sites including Inpatient as directed by their line manager to ensure continuity of service provision.
The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem-solving is an integral part of the role.
The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach. The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.
