The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to cover maternity leave, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum to a KS2 class, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
3. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child's development.
5. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
3. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
4. Excellent classroom management skills.
5. Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
6. Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
