About the Role:
As Sales Director, you will play a key role in transforming the sales model to capitalise on the company’s past successes and achieve new heights. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that secure high-value contracts for major construction projects while building a robust sales pipeline and leading marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Craft and implement a strategic sales plan to secure contracts for large-scale construction projects.
2. Drive growth through direct sales of own-brand M&E products into major construction projects.
3. Build and manage a high-performance sales team while fostering a culture of excellence.
4. Oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market demands.
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction sector.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Deliver against ambitious revenue targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
8. Manage and develop sales pipeline processes to ensure project specification success.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the M&E sector or similar.
2. Expertise in project-based sales, with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth.
3. Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans.
4. Established industry connections and experience selling into large construction projects.
5. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
6. A hands-on, proactive approach to driving results and exceeding targets.
7. Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage stakeholder relationships.
