We have a good track record of supporting such development within the service. We will also support with providing appropriate training opportunities.
Main duties of the job
You will support the provision of a specialist psychological service for adults with Learning Disabilities & autistic adults across core pathways linked to 'Building the right support' and transforming care agenda, supporting reasonable adjustments linked to access of mental health services, liaison with partner services, reduction & avoidance of hospital admission for this cohort.
There will be opportunities for specialist assessment, formulation, and intervention, as well as opportunities for indirect working, supporting reflective practice, team formulation and clinical supervision. We would also expect skills in evaluation and audit work. We often provide training to external agencies to support our clinical interventions. Part of the role will also include the specialist identification and assessment of e.g. autism in adults. The service will provide all necessary training required to fulfil the role.
As part of this role, you will receive regular clinical supervision from a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist.
