A vacancy has arisen for a Retail Catering Supervisor to join a small friendly evening shift team within our Ellerby's restaurant.
The role primarily involves being hands-on, working with the team, ensuring staff are inspired and motivated to deliver the best service to customers, and adhering to the service steps.
The post holder will be at the forefront of implementing the actions from the business/operational plan for evening shifts, which involves introducing new hot concepts.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Supervising a small team on evening shifts and working on the tills, serving customers on the hot counter, preparing food for the deli and hot counter, cleaning, and making coffee.
* Placing orders for all supplies, liaising with suppliers, conducting regular food safety and health and safety audits, and ensuring food safety, health and safety, and quality standards are consistently maintained.
* Completing weekly/monthly paperwork and attending meetings to discuss matters/issues pertaining to the evening shifts.

Person Specification
Experience and Knowledge Required
* Experience and knowledge of working in a hospitality service.
* Supervisory Experience.
Education, Qualifications and Training
* Food Safety L3 or relevant qualification within the Catering field or acquired equivalent experience, skills, and knowledge.
* Food Safety Level 4 Qualification.
* Full UK valid driving licence.
