Job Title: Industrial Services Asset Maintenance Manager
Location: Tutbury Factory, Derbyshire

Position Summary
We have an opportunity for an Asset Maintenance Manager at our Beverage factory in Tutbury, Derbyshire.
Reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring competent industrial services leadership, management, and operation. You will ensure optimal cost, efficient, high quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, Nitrogen and CO2, compressed air, coffee grounds handling etc.
The Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after circa £500 million investment over the last few years. The factory is a Centre of excellence for Nescafé products around the world producing freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee technologies and is at the forefront of coffee innovation globally. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes so it’s an exciting time to be involved.

A day in the life of an Asset Maintenance Manager
Reporting into the Factory Engineering Manager this role will be responsible for ensuring competent industrial services management and operations, and to ensure optimal cost, highly efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compressed air.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensure process and personnel safety with regards to industrial services plant and equipment. From design and installation through to routine and periodic safety inspections and audits.
2. Leadership, management and development of a highly technical and significant operational team.
3. Ensure that personnel managing, operating and maintaining industrial services plant and infrastructure are competent to do so.
4. Guarantee that competency assessment and competency building plans are in place, routinely reviewed and executed for the industrial services team.
5. Plan, perform and manage the design, modification and improvements to industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure. Utilising own area of competency and specialisation or with competent 3rd parties.
6. Support the operation of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, quality and compliance.
7. Assist in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services. Identifies and drives energy and water saving opportunities.
8. Manage quality, environmental and internal and external compliance requirements for industrial services through management and monitoring processes and routines.
What will make you successful
* Ideally Degree / Diploma/ HNC in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial Engineering or similar)
* Have excellent leadership and management skills and be able to coach and develop both technical managers and technicians
* Have a proven ability to achieve targets, drive improvements and manage budgets. Ideally the applicant will be BOAS certified or competent in Industrial Refrigeration System (NH3 handling) but training will be provided.
* Experience and knowledge working with industrial boilers, steam systems, water treatment, refrigeration, legionella, Ro plants, sewage treatment plants and air conditioning.
* Experience with building maintenance and facilities is key.
* Having a continuous improvement mind set. TPM experience is preferred.
* Be able to work effectively with equipment and utility suppliers and contractors.
* Can lead a team in delivering professionalism, CAPEX projects, reliability, compliance in safety, quality, cost and CO2 reductions.
