Director of Marketing and Events
Exclusive opportunity for an experienced Director of Marketing and Events to join a leading global membership organisation.
Operating at ExCo level, the Director of Marketing and Events will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive member engagement, attract new members, and promote our events. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management to deliver impactful campaigns and successful events.
Central London based, very flexible working: 1 day a week in office, 4 from home
Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with organisational goals
Oversee content creation for newsletters, social media, and promotional materials
Event Management:
Plan and execute a range of events, including conferences, workshops, and webinars
Manage event logistics, budgeting, vendor relationships, and on-site coordination
Promote events through targeted marketing campaigns and member outreach
Lead and mentor the marketing and events team, fostering a collaborative culture
Set objectives and conduct performance reviews to support team development
Manage the marketing and events budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
Report on the ROI of marketing campaigns and events to senior management
Brand Management:
Ensure consistent brand communication across all channels
Maintain brand guidelines and oversee their application in all marketing and events materials
Proven experience in marketing leadership, preferably within a membership organisation
Experience of leading large-scale events and conferences (both in person and online)
Experience of developing and managing content strategy
Successful track record in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and managing events
Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
