HR Helpdesk Advisor - Full Time
Salary: £20.86 per hour
Starting date: 24/02 to May 2025
Shift Pattern/ Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 am to 17:00 pm - Hybrid position
Location: Kensington
The role:
Manage and streamline HR helpdesk operations, ensuring efficient resolution of service requests with high customer satisfaction. Provide expert guidance on HR processes while optimizing self-service resources. Collaborate across teams to enhance supports systems and improve inquiry handling.
What you will be responsible for:
Manage HR help-desk operations by prioritising, processing, and resolving incoming requests efficiently.
Monitor and follow up on help-desk requests to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Maintain clear documentation of enquiry resolutions and provide user feedback.
Support users with online forms and system-related issues in Oracle.
Analyse HR helpdesk performance and suggest improvements for better service delivery.
Handle HR data in Oracle, including updates, calculations, and troubleshooting employee access issuesRequirements:
A good understanding of service request ticketing systems, workflows and notifications, and how online supporting information for service users can be used to reduce the volume of incoming enquiries and promote self-service.
Experience of providing a customer-centric approach to resolve enquiries and finding solutions while effectively managing service demands, pressures, and tight deadlines.
A general understanding of the range of HR terms and conditions of service in a local government environment to support the resolution of a wide range of user enquiries.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to clearly and succinctly explain HR processes and concepts to staff at all levels.
Ability to work accurately under pressure as part of a team, to tight deadlines, and to organise own workload with minimal supervision.
Ability to perform basic calculations and a good level of proficiency and accuracy in Excel to support the maintenance of people data in the HR system.
Ability to work collaboratively and successfully with internal and external partners to deliver a high-quality service to strict deadlines.
