Reading (Fleet VMU site), Berkshire
£45,000 per annum. Bonus opportunities available.
Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Flexibility required.

Day to day, you will be:
1. Planning and controlling your workforce resource availability to meet your customer's fleet demands.
2. Managing and controlling labour costs, including any use of third parties.
3. Complying with safety audits and managing working code of practice for contractors.
4. Ensuring planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc. are carried out correctly, optimal design of workplaces and processes.
5. Preparing planning and calculations for investments in workshops, facilities and HR.
6. Regularly reviewing prices for workshop services and after prior agreement with management, adapting them to suit the market.
7. Measuring and reporting on daily workshop performance around retail sales, warranty and internal contract.
8. Managing WIP and cash control.
9. Employing new staff and carrying out effective induction.
10. Managing, coaching and motivating employees, ensuring retention of high-quality team members.
11. Defining target agreements with employees and reviewing the level of target achievement.
