Provide high level expertise on Tenancy Fraud, Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Domestic Abuse and legal action for tenancy enforcement. Tenancy Specialists will be responsible for case management and will work closely with field based Neighbourhood Response Officers to ensure effective investigation of cases and that the most appropriate, cost effective and proportionate action is taken.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough investigations into reports of antisocial behaviour, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and follow-up actions.
* Oversee fraud cases, although infrequent, ensuring they are handled with due diligence and in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines.
* Attend court sessions as required.
* Issue warning notices and draft legal paperwork, including warnings and other necessary documents.
* Attend evictions and liaise with law enforcement as needed.
* Work closely with various teams, including the police, local authorities, and support groups such as domestic violence support services.
* Participate in professional meetings, including child protection meetings and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs).
* Ensure safeguarding measures are in place and adhered to, providing a safe environment for all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Counter Fraud Specialist qualification - desirable
Knowledge:
* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation in respect to tenancy management, fraud, ASB and legal disrepair.
* Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection and how it applies in investigation work - desirable.
* An excellent understanding of anti-social behaviour and/or tenancy fraud.
Experience:
* Experience of investigative interviewing, ideally for fraud and/or ASB.
* Experience of successful case management with positive outcomes.
* Experience of preparing and presenting cases at court - desirable.

* Able to weigh up different views, exercise good judgement and make decisions.
* Excellent communicator, able to adapt approach to the audience.
* Able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and external agencies.

* Able to work early mornings or evenings if required to support investigation work.
