Group Finance Manager - Glasgow

Lusona is supporting one of our clients in Glasgow to source suitable applicants for a new role they have created in their finance team.
About the Role:
The client is looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Group Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health and performance of the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact and contribute to the company's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cash Flow Management: Oversee and optimise the group's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives. Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Bank Relationships & Covenants: Manage relationships with the banking partners, ensuring compliance with all loan agreements and covenants. Negotiate and secure financing as needed and explore opportunities to optimise banking arrangements.
* Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential impacts on the business.
* Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and support to the CFO on a variety of projects, including M&A, investment appraisals, and operational improvements. Prepare presentations and reports summarising key findings and recommendations.
To be considered:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Extensive experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within a larger complex organisation.
* Proven track record of successfully managing cash flow, bank relationships, and financial covenants.
* Strong financial modelling skills and experience in building and maintaining complex models.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Advanced Excel skills are essential.
