Fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join an SME business based in High Wycombe. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for financial and management reporting, tax, treasury and payroll.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily running of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
* Manage accounting system ensuring the accuracy of the financial ledgers.
* Managing cashflow and regular forecasting
* Managing project costing systems
* Monthly invoices/applications for payment
* Payroll / expenses
* Accounts Payable and Credit Control responsibilities
* Bank accounts management including reconciliations and liaison with Banks
* Reviewing year-end statutory accounts - prepare audit schedules / providing necessary documentation
* Managing taxation affairs - Corporation Tax, VAT, NI, PAYE
* Reporting directly to the Board of Directors
* Provide monthly management accounts to the Board
* Managing 2 administration staff
Requirements:
* Qualified ACA / ACCA Finance professional
* High proficient with Excel
