Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Commissioning Engineer: Overseeing tenders, offers, design, and engineering within your discipline. Providing technical support for electrical, PLC & Drives systems and adeptly troubleshooting faults. Developing and reviewing PLC & Drives specifications, logic tables, and FDS documents. Preparing comprehensive automation project documentation and certification packages. Crafting PLC logic flow/process charts to facilitate efficient fault-finding. Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) procedures and running FAT with client witness. Retrieving PLC & drives programming code for reverse engineering or upgrading. Designing and coding electrical and PLC systems for onshore and offshore cranes and lifting equipment. Managing all technical and commercial aspects of projects. Undertaking offshore and onshore surveys and project work scopes. Ensuring compliance with HSEQ policies, safety management systems, and industry regulations. Identifying and implementing safe work methods and systems, with a focus on hazard identification. Planning and organising client work processes with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental considerations. Skills & Competencies Commissioning Engineer Knowledge and experience in coding on Siemens systems. Experience with Siemens drive systems, especially S120. Familiarity with SCADA systems. Strong managerial and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with a methodical, dynamic approach. Excellent communication skills. Onshore crane and lifting experience (preferred- not essential) Understanding of Ports operations. Sound IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.
