We are pleased to be working with an excellent, reputable company based in Leeds, City Centre who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This will be a standalone role within the finance team, and you will be reporting into the finance manager, but will attend finance meetings to provide reports and updates on the ledger/debt.
Duties will include:
1. Chasing payments via telephone and email across all sites
2. Performing credit checks for new applicants
3. Opening new accounts
4. Processing weekly debtor downloads for management meetings
5. Raising invoices and credit notes
6. Supplier statement reconciliations
7. Dealing with insurance claims
8. Matching invoices to credits
9. Reconciliation of cash and posting to the ledger
10. Other adhoc duties
