The nursery benefits from being on Brinsbury College campus which is a fabulous rural campus, with a farm track, orchard, stream and more- so it s not hard to see why the nursery can often boast a waiting list for childcare places!

As a Childcare Assistant working with young babies through to children ready to start school, you will share your love for learning and make a real difference in children s development and learning journeys. Together with our dedicated team, you will be a part of ensuring the children are learning, socialising, exploring and having fun.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Recognised Level 2 and/or Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years, Care and Education
2. Enthusiastic, organised, and flexible with previous experience of working in a childcare setting
3. First Aid certificate (desirable, but not essential)
First Steps Childcare has nurseries in several locations and offers childcare options right from birth through to children ready to start school. The settings are open 51 weeks of the year, with core opening hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm, closed only for Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.
