Job Description
The Project Development Manager will be responsible for arranging, managing, and communicating all aspects of event and building accessibility reviews, running social media platforms, managing a small video-based information project, ensuring accessibility provisions (such as BSL interpretation) for meetings and reviews, and handling finance and bookkeeping tasks. Additionally, the role involves identifying and establishing new partnerships and developing a web presence for All In Leicester.
* Freelance position: 1 day per week-flexible working considered.
* 6 month contract subject to mid-point review with option to extend.
Job Requirements
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Experience in managing social media and web content.
* Knowledge of financial administration and bookkeeping.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse membership.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Experience managing projects, particularly in accessibility or community engagement.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and occasional weekends.
* Willingness to travel within Leicester and the surrounding county when required.
* Lived experience of disability or a strong understanding of accessibility issues is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities
Event and Building Accessibility Reviews
* Arrange and manage accessibility reviews for venues and events.
* Communicate with venues, volunteers, and accessibility service providers to ensure smooth coordination.
* Ensure all meetings and reviews have accessibility provisions, including BSL interpreters and other support as needed.
Social Media - Communications
* Manage social media platforms and communication channels.
* Create and schedule content to engage with the community and partners.
Video-Based Information Project
* Manage the production of informational videos to support the initiative.
Partnership Development and Engagement
* Identify and establish new partnerships with relevant organisations.
* Maintain relationships with existing stakeholders.
Administration and Financial Management
* Manage organisational databases.
* Handle financial administration, including basic bookkeeping tasks.
* Maintain booking system for reviews.
* Arrange transport for members as needed.
