Join Our Solutions Squad
As a member of a Solutions Squad, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of autonomy solutions to our customers. This fast-paced role offers broad exposure across our architecture and requires a candidate with extensive robotics experience to design, implement, and deliver autonomous solutions as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working with customers to define requirements
2. Conducting technical gap analysis and generating new feature requests
3. Developing safety cases, including route analysis, risk assessments, and operational procedures
4. Vehicle acceptance testing and shakedown
5. Commissioning, calibrating, deploying, and verifying compute, software, sensing, and networking systems
6. Building, upgrading, and maintaining AV maps
7. In-field AV monitoring, debugging, tuning, and post-mortem analysis
8. Collaborating with the launch team for ongoing customer support planning
9. Managing the technical roadmap and end-to-end delivery of autonomy solutions
10. Creating and maintaining documentation on software architecture, APIs, and decision flows
11. Understanding customer use-cases and designing solutions accordingly
12. Participating in regular sprint meetings, addressing risks, gaps, scope creep, or performance issues
13. Sharing knowledge within the wider team and deploying solutions in the field
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s/MASc degree or equivalent in computer science or robotics
* Experience in robotics system development and delivery in a commercial setting
* Experience with deploying, configuring, debugging hardware and software
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
Preferred Skills:
* Experience launching autonomous products
* Proficiency with project management tools
* Knowledge of robotics components: localisation, mapping, perception, ML, control, sensing, calibration
* Development skills in C++, Python, Linux, scripting, networking, version control
* Systems integration, prototyping, V&V, hardware configuration, troubleshooting
