Field Service Technician Location - Rushden - Field based - Nationwide travel required Salary - £26,000 - £28,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00AM – 5:30PM, early finish on a Friday at 4PM Our client who has a reputation of over 25 years in the Medical Science Manufacturing industry is looking for a candidate who can provide technical support to Technical Services Department to ensure a consistently high quality and accurate service is provided to our customers & engineers. The purpose of the role Provide field based Planned Preventive Maintenance support of our client's products throughout the UK and Ireland. Deliver a consistently high quality and accurate service which is driven by an understanding of customers’ needs and expectations. Duties include: Attend customer sites as scheduled by the Customer Service Team Leader and carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (and occasional repair) work to the highest technical standard. Work with other team members on installation, commissioning and training projects. Ensure all new equipment is installed to the highest possible standard. Update the electronic job management system according to agreed procedures. Develop profitable relationships with customers to ensure the ongoing promotion of the Technical Service Department and our client's product range. Manage and maintain tools, parts and equipment.
