Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in educational settings Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Help students with personal care tasks if required Support students during classroom activities and outings Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Relevant experience working with individuals with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in school settings, including classrooms and outdoor areas Full-time hours, typically following the school term calendar May require lifting and assisting with personal care tasks All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
