The candidate with his team will be responsible for leading a small and focused team across performance reporting, keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, digital PR and technical SEO insight. Responsibilities Monitor daily, weekly and monthly SEO performance, spotting whats working and what isnt. Deliver clear, commercially focused reports to the Head of SEO, with actionable insights that support lead growth. Stay ahead of algorithm updates, assess business impact and lead clear, confident responses. Ensure team and strategy adapt quickly to preserve and improve performance. Identify and prioritise keywords that attract high-converting users, not just more traffic. Monitor SERP trends to inform targeting strategy and refine visibility goals. Audit and improve existing pages for structure, search intent and conversion performance. Collaborate with the SEO Content Manager to ensure on-page improvements align with wider goals. Identify and escalate technical issues affecting crawlability, indexation and site performance. Work closely with developers to prioritise fixes that will deliver the most business value. Monitor and report on Core Web Vitals and overall site health. Lead and support digital PR and backlink campaigns that grow domain authority. Monitor backlink health and manage risk proactively. Champion SEO best practice across teamsensuring its embedded at the planning stage, not just post-launch. Lead training sessions and support internal awareness of what good SEO looks like.
