Digital Manager (Communications Projects)
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Digital Manager (Communications Projects) for a 12 month contract on a rate between £224.35 - £241.57/day (Inside IR35). This would be a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
1. As a key member of the team, you will support the Senior Digital Manager to deliver our wider digital communications strategy.
2. You will lead the day-to-day management and maintenance of our digital platforms and assets ensuring they are secure, smooth running, fully compliant and meet all expected quality standards.
3. You will use tools such as Google Analytics to quality assure and monitor the performance of our website.
4. You will line manage a small team of digital content specialists to produce high quality, accessible, user-centred content for use across our digital channels.
5. You will use your own digital content skills and experience to produce content of your own and to up-skill your direct reports, continuously improving our content standards.
6. You will assess and workflow digital content requests, knowing when to deliver as requested and when to use your expertise to sell in better and more effective solutions.
7. You will proactively use data as well as stakeholder input to drive digital content plans.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree, and/or professional qualification relating to digital communications or digital marketing, and/or relevant experience.
2. Experience of successfully collaborating with stakeholders to deliver digital activity across a wide range of activities.
3. Experience of copywriting and editing or producing digital content.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
6. Extensive experience of managing websites using CMS.
7. Solid working knowledge of SEO optimisation and Google Analytics.
8. Experience of managing social media platforms and associated monitoring tools.
9. Experience of working in and/or with similar sector.
10. Experience of managing and developing staff.
