Byrne Resourcing are partnering a leading financial services firm to appoint an interim HR Operations and Employee Relations lead (12 month FTC)
Reporting to the Head of People Change and Transformation, this role will manage a central team of HR Operations Advisors who are the first point of contact to both HR and the business on a broad range of HR services associated with the employment life cycle and employee relations.
This role will manage the Advisory team, overseeing capacity and ensuring the team is actively engaged in the continuous improvement of all activities and services. The role will manage ER cases, as well as supporting and coaching the HR Advisors as they guide and support the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Manage, provide advice and coaching to the business and team on employee relations cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinaries, and performance improvement plans
* Day to day management of the HR Operations Team, leading the provision of high quality, accurate and responsive HR service to the business, coordinating workflow and capacity across the team.
* Liaising with relevant internal and external experts to ensure sound advice and consultation is provided on complex ER matters
* Uses MI and Data to drive continuous improvement of existing processes and introduction of new ways of working to ensure a best-in-class delivery of HR Services
* Support change management initiatives including leading/ supporting consultations where appropriate
* Support the HR team with cyclical processes (e.g. continual Performance Management, annual compensation reviews, training needs analysis, talent reviews)
* Support/ lead the upskill of the HR Team and line managers across the business on the management of ER issues.
* Build, design and iterate new and existing HR processes ensuring the employee experience drives recommendations for change and improvement.
* Regular review of HR Policies to ensure they are kept up to date with changes in employment legislation and regulations.
