Post Title: Resource & Facilities Co-ordinator Hours: 28 hours per week (fixed), with the working pattern/schedule flexible and negotiable upon successful offer. Purpose of the role: This pivotal role will oversee the smooth co-ordination of workshop spaces, facilities, and outreach delivery. The Resource & Facilities Co-ordinator will work closely with staff, tutors, and students to ensure resources are efficiently managed, enabling the successful delivery of courses and events. The post-holder will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards while supporting the long-term sustainability of WOMEN'STEC's programmes. Specific responsibilities: Co-ordinate and timetable resources, spaces, and facilities to align with courses and events. Support programme staff and tutors in ensuring materials and equipment are ready for each term. Manage procurement processes, adhering to WOMEN'STEC's financial procedures. Lead on Health & Safety compliance and staff training, including risk management. Oversee workshop equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Recruit, induct, and support course tutors, managing timesheets and expenses. Provide line management for Workshop Technician(s). Maintain schedules for organisational vehicles and adhere to usage policies. Ensure ISO compliance for resources and facilities. Person specification: Essential : At least two years' experience in managing/co-ordinating resources or facilities. Exceptional organisational skills, including multitasking and time management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards. Ability to follow financial procedures and manage procurement processes. Problem-solving and team-working abilities. Desirable : Technical knowledge (e.g., Trades, Horticulture, IT). Budget management experience. Certification in Health & Safety and/or ISO standards. Experience in recruiting and training staff. A third-level qualification in facilities management or business administration. Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus 11 statutory days (pro-rata).
