About the Role
The role of the Junior Producer is to support the Producer & Senior Producer in a range of administrative, production and post-production tasks. You are an enthusiastic, organised individual with a desire to learn and gain experience. The role will entail managing the delivery of content projects under the supervision of the Producer & Senior Producer. You will be working alongside a team of fast-paced content creators and will be there to support them from concepting stage through to final delivery.
The role requires a team player who is admin-focused with an attention to detail who wants to join the dynamic and award-winning Ogilvy Social and Content team.
What You’ll Do
* Point of contact, management & liaison (for both internal queries and external queries) with stock libraries & regularly used vendors
* Keeping up to date on all elements of production & finance admin (industry-based and Ogilvy-mandated)
* Meeting with/vetting new suppliers and crew
* Working with the internal team on production & post-production processes
* Managing requests relating to archive projects
* Liaison with resource team re: production skillsets, freelancers, etc.
What You'll Need
* Important qualities: highly organised, detail-oriented, admin-focused
* Experience/willingness to learn all elements of production admin - scoping & budgeting; contracting suppliers; health & safety paperwork; finance & billing; post-production admin & delivery; etc.
* Experience/willingness to learn attending and travelling for shoots to work as a production assistant
* Experience/willingness to learn managing production projects end-to-end - both building team & crew from the ground up, and partnering with third-party production suppliers
* Experience/willingness to learn working with creative and internal stakeholders to manage and navigate feedback
* Experience/willingness to learn being client-facing where needed
* Experience/willingness to learn different forms of production and post-production: live action shoots with influencers & talent; product shoots; creative & scripted shoots; animation & motion design
* Experience/willingness to learn working in social, good knowledge of social platforms, formats and delivery specs
* Confidence working with tight timelines and a range of budgets, along with managing multiple production workstreams at once
